Many schools that are participating in Trucker Buddy are in continual need for school supplies due to reduced budgets and lack of local support. Many of these schools are in rural areas where the parents and students don’t have the resources to help. This program will help Trucker Buddy classes and schools that have a need for more resources.

Funds can be requested by the Trucker Buddy or the teacher. Only active TBI schools are eligible for the grant. Applications from classrooms and schools not participating in the Trucker Buddy International program will be eliminated without notice.

Timing and Funding

Applications must be submitted online by December 27th, 2019. Trimble will provide funds to be donated to up to a limited number of classrooms of $500 each in January of 2020.

Guidelines and Procedures

  1. Trucker Buddy will communicate to the teachers about the program and direct them to a form that they must complete.
  2. Schools will be selected from the applications to receive $500 per school per year grants.
  3. Only one grant per school will be awarded.
  4. Checks will be written directly to the school.
  5. Funds should be directed to the needs of the Trucker Buddy teacher’s classroom.
  6. Grants are awarded once a year.

  2. The Committee will have complete authority to select the recipients of the grants.

Bill was the best Trucker Buddy in the world! He was always in touch with us. He visited us and we went to see his truck. We went inside. I even got to do the AIR HORN! He was fun to be with the whole year.
