Many schools that are participating in Trucker Buddy are in continual need for school supplies due to reduced budgets and lack of local support. Many of these schools are in rural areas where the parents and students don’t have the resources to help. This program will help Trucker Buddy classes and schools that have a need for more resources.

Funds can be requested by the Trucker Buddy or the teacher.  Only active TBI schools are eligiable for the grants and non TBI schools will be eliminated without notice.

“This program reaches way beyond a pen and paper,” said Fred Sweetwood, a long time Trucker Buddy and driver for over 40 years. “It paints the Rockies, the bitter cold of North Dakota and the devastation of Oklahoma City and Katrina. It brings America to the classroom through the eyes of a truck driver.”
